I have been a researcher at the French National Institute of Demographic Studies (INED) from 1978 to 1993. I moved to the French National Statistical Institute (INSEE) in 1993 where I have had the following positions :

  • 1993 to 1996 : Head of the Redistribution and Social Policies unit
  • 1996 to 1999 : Head, National School of Statistics and Economic Administration (ENSAE)
  • 1999 to 2003 : Head, Department of Employment and Labour Income Statistics
  • Since 2003 : Head, Department of General Economic Studies
